Cross-country skiing

The winter destination Seefeld, with over 245 kilometers of perfectly groomed cross-country trails, is a true paradise for all cross-country skiing enthusiasts.

Thanks to the first-class cross-country skiing infrastructure, Seefeld’s landscape is ideal for being explored on cross-country skis. On two illuminated night trails you can immerse yourself in a very special atmosphere. If you spend your holiday with your dog at the ASTORIA, a special dog trail provides fun for you both.

Alpine skiing

You will find the right downhill piste for your skills. The Seefeld Olympic Region has five excellent ski resorts, plenty of snow and the best conditions for skiing.

Excellent slopes ensure the perfect winter day in the mountains. Seefeld is an insider tip for leading ski resorts and offers a varied terrain for skiers and snowboarders. Around 37 kilometres of pistes are located directly in the Seefeld Olympic region:

The sunny and award-winning Rosshütte, the panoramic Gschwandtkopf with its unique view over Seefeld, the idyllic and family-friendly ski areas Leutasch and Neuleutasch or Geigenbühel and Birkenlift, which are particularly suitable for beginners and children. More than 30 cable cars and lifts take you up to the top and are only a few minutes’ walk away from the ASTORIA RESORT. We will be happy to organise a transfer for you and advise you on the choice of the ideal skiing area.


Snowshoe hiking

Experience the beauty of untouched nature. During a snowshoe hike, the Seefeld high plateau will show you its quiet and original side.

With 150 km of winter hiking trails, Seefeld is a true paradise for all those who enjoy nature even in the cold season. Just a few minutes’ walk after leaving the Olympic region behind, you are surrounded by the pleasant silence of the snow-covered winter landscape.

The breathtaking nature can be explored even more impressively with snowshoes: Not only do they prevent you from sinking into the snow, they also allow you to climb uphill to a certain degree without any problems. On snowshoes you can easily get through snow-covered fields, from where you can start your search for your personal favourite place in Seefeld.
